Oglethorpe Animal Clinic is a busy veterinary clinic in Crawford, Ga, located just outside of Athens, GA. We are searching for a friendly, motivated, professional individual who works well with other team members and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Our ideal candidate is a current licensed veterinary technician or assistant in good standing with a minimumof 2 years of medical experience assisting veterinarians with patient care and medical procedures. Candidate should have a firm baseline knowledge of placing IVC, venipuncture, animal restraint, radiology, medication administration and anesthesia monitoring. 

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed veterinary technician or assistant (willing to consider candidate in a AVMA accredited veterinary technician program)

• Wonderful customer service skills 

• Must work Saturday rotations and occasional holidays

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable with a variety of computer software programs

• Willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 40 + pounds

• Willingness to work as a positive team member
