Veterinarian
Lindsey Gard, DVM
Hi, I’m Dr. Lindsey Gard—a proud recent graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After moving to Athens from metro Atlanta 4 years ago, my husband and I decided this was home and we weren't leaving! We currently reside with our 5 Australian shepherds, 3 goats, and our menagerie of reptiles, amphibians, marsupials and more!
I’m passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care for all creatures great and small—from your furry companions to the scaley, feathered, and even hooved members of your family. I'll even treat your honey bees!
With certifications in Fear Free handling, dental prophylaxis, peaceful euthanasia and apiary health, I’m committed to making every patient’s visit as stress-free and positive as possible. I bring a mix of clinical skill, curiosity, and a touch of quirkiness to my work—because I truly believe this is the best job in the world.
I’m incredibly excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to building lasting relationships with both my clients and their amazing animals.

In addition to attending to your cats and dogs, he can treat your parrot, python, bunnies, guinea pigs and more.

Veterinarian
